What is dvdata-analysis?

dvdata-analysis is the Business Central extension that adds an additional analytic date to every accounting transaction. It allows analysis of the actual operational reality of the business (when the real expense happened) without touching official accounting (the one filed with the tax authority and the SII).

Does this conflict with tax law or with the SII?

No. The accounting date — the one filed with the tax authority and the SII — remains the official one and behaves exactly as the law requires. The analytic date is an additional field, with no tax or accounting impact. It is only used for internal management reports.

How long does implementation take?

Once payment is made, a technician contacts you within 24 business hours for the implementation. The extension is installed instantly. That same day you receive an email with training materials and you can immediately start working.

Is having Business Central mandatory?

Yes, it is required. If you do not have Business Central, you can choose the licensing option during checkout in Stripe.

Do I have to manually enter the analytic date on each invoice?

No, in most cases. When there is a prior delivery note, the extension automatically takes the delivery note date as the analytic date. When there is a service ticket or prior certification, same thing. Only in specific cases without a prior document do you need to enter it manually.

Who decides what the "real date" of the economic event is?

The company decides, based on whichever management criterion makes sense for the business. In construction it is usually the date of the delivery note or certification. In professional services, the date the work was performed. The extension does not impose a criterion: each company configures it according to its operational reality.
